Hepatitis A, an acute infectious disease of the liver, spread through a Cardiff school in November, forcing all staff and pupils to comply with cleaning and disinfection procedures. Two children at Meadowlane Primary School, in St Mellons, were diagnosed with the condition and vaccinations were offered to families as a precaution.
