Genotyping kits - MLVA kits P. aeruginosa

A genotyping platform and typing kits for Pseudomonas aeruginosa

The CEERAM R&D Department has developed a method for genotyping and typing kits P. aeruginosa by MLVA. Like other techniques used with forensic medicine to determine human genetic footprints, this analytical method is based on a concomitant study of several VNTRs polymorphisms, sequences in tandem-repeat, characterized by variable-number intra-species.

Why type isolates of P. aeruginosa ?

Fight against nosocomial infections :

Identify contamination origin

Follow-up incriminated pathogens

Ensure epidemiological surveillance :

Warn about the emergence of certain strains

Prove the existence of virulent clones

Research :

Evaluate the diversity of a population

Understand evolution mechanisms

Why choose CEERAM's expertise and typing kits ?

Typing of 100 strains guaranteed within 72 hours
Validated on clinical and environmental strains
Reproducible results
High discrimination power
Exchangeable and storable MLVA numeric code
Database creation
Pending patent

Ubiquous bacteria, P. aeruginosa is a central pathogen : it is the leading cause for nosocomial infections, the second leading cause for food poisoning and the main pathogen in the animal world. Typing is the only risk prevention tool linked to P. aeruginosa.

The genotyping platform and typing kits available from CEERAM will allow you to rapidly type your collected isolates in order to take necessary actions in the case of infections linked to P. aeruginosa, or to set prevention mapping to limit the propagation risk of the pathogen.
