Killer diseases are on the rise in Plymouth, says new report | This is Plymouth

In Plymouth there are low levels of whooping cough, Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B and Rubella, with less than five cases of each during 2010. Prof Lapthorne said this is a direct result of effective immunisation programmes, isolation and treatment of cases and the identification and treatment of contacts.
